I am prepping my car for a ls1/T56 swap. Now I am going a with spohn k-member, control arms, and i am trying to determine the torque arm. I found one that isnt mounted to the tail shaft of the tranny, of the crossmember. It has a bar the connects from the rear frame rails and then mounts in the center. Now my concern bout this is the exhaust. I plan on going with long tubes, so would this idea work? more clearence? any ideas on suspension parts, crossmembers that work 100%. Hawks has a crossmember for the t56 that has notches cut into it so the exhaust can come right off the collector of the header and go pretty much straight back any suggestions would help. once i get all my parts, and when i start prepping the body ill make a thread for the build. Just gettin my mind in the frame and for sure what i need.

 

I know the kit you mean. I forget the brand name, but Wendy Caliendo used it under her record setting formula convertible. Maybe you could find her on facebook and ask her? Or maybe GMHighTechPerformance has it, they featured that car in their magazine a few years ago.
