lq9 and tranny ?

got me a motor a lq9 from a 02 escalade got the computer and harness with it i got the tranny from the same place it is a 4l60e from a 03 chevy van can any one tell me for sure they will mate up i know chevy changed from 24 to 54 i think but dont know what year that was could some one tell me how to tell witch one it is thanks

they'll bolt right up, but may need to double check the flywheel as there were a couple different length cranks used on the gen III/IV engines.

24x wasnt phased out until 06-07 and it would make the first bit of difference regarding a trans

If memory serves, the longer (shorter? can't remember) cranks were only in use on the earliest engines, say from '98-2000, maybe 2001. And the commonly-used shortcut to determine if a particular engine has a 24x or 58x reluctor wheel is to look at the color of the plug for the crank position sensor - black is 24x & gray is 58x.
