Re: HEADERS HEADERS HEADERS

i might have to think about this one then. if they were only 1 3/4".... are they gonna be the normal pieces i would get on my own, or are they like the minorly imperfect ones they want to get rid of? seems like there were some concerns over the last group buy. sounds great though, definitely, just don't want to end up wishing i had waited and paid a little more. but keep me in line for now, i might take a set. thanks

Re: HEADERS HEADERS HEADERS

These are the polished headers that were NOT made by stainless works. I had two sets that did not fit the frame, let alone the 4L60E trans. "Minorly imperfect" is a gross overstatement. I now have the SW 1.75 primaries with 2.5-inch collectors and they fit PERFECTLY. Some people have gotten the 1 5/8 crappy chinese headers to work, but it isn't worth the cost savings imo.

These were designed for 4.8/5.3's and stock 5.7's which take full advantage of the 1 5/8" primaries

Hi,
Just a side note these headers work with auto and manual the auto does take slight mods but it is really tight with a auto inbetween the frame rails, BOTH sets of headers chriswenk sent back are on cars here at the shop and fit great if anyone would like pics of these headers on a car let me know dont really understand why the wouldnt fit for you
I am glad to hear you finbally got a set to fit fot ya.
Thanks again for all the support.
Sincerely,
Bruce Hawkins

Agreed. Got mine refunded. Save for SW headers guys, they are worth every penny.
