Had a bit of a scare today
The car is at the shop for exhaust, hoping he would have some space to work on it every once in awhile. Not going to happen, but beside that, I got this message this morning: "I tried to move your car this morning and the clutch pedal went all the way to the floor. I don’t know if the cable came loose (I thought the T56 used a hydraulic system), but that is what it felt like."
Oh, great, I thought, my homemade "adjustable" clutch MC rod broke. I told him I'd be over to take a look at it (already had the panel installed, so he couldn't look at it.
Got over there, dropped the panel, and confirmed the 2nd thought that came to my mind - I lost the clip for the pedal pin, and the rod finally worked its way off. Ran to the dealer (in stock, $2.53), went back to put it on (which it fought every step of the way), have a clutch again.
I'm going to have to pick it back up because he doesn't have any room on his schedule until May 10th. Oh, well, delayed gratification builds character . . .

Re: Had a bit of a scare today
at least it was simple to fix. i have waited more than two months for a specific exhaust shop to work on my stuff. well worth the wait.
