Got a question, truck windage tray vs. LS1 windage tray

I have a 03 4.8L I'm installing in my 91 Trans Am until I get my LS6 built. Anyway I got my LS1 pickup tube and oil pan in from GM Parts Direct today. It looks like I'm having some clearance issues on the windage tray where the LS1 pickup support piece bolts up. Could I just clearance this a little and use the truck windage tray? Doesn't look like it would be hard to bend it a little. Just don't want any oiling problems if I'm supposed to run the LS1 windage tray. Is there a big difference? This is the only thing I've got left to do before dropping it in. Thanks!

Fbody windage trays are essentially truck trays with the front main cut off

Trim, bend whatever you need to do to get it to fit. Just be sure it doesnt touch the crank when you're done
