Computer Mounting

So I see a lot of people mounting their PCMs behind the dash in the stock location. I wanted to know what you all used to mount it and if you have any pics of it. Thanks

Re: Computer Mounting

Mine fit up in the original spot pretty tightly. I tried to figure out a way to use the original LS1 pcm cradle, but in the end, i just made a metal bracket to support the pcm. It doesnt really hold it securely, but the PCM cant go up, or down, or side to side. So I figured it was good.

Its basically just a piece of fairly heavy aluminum. I bent it to give it some strength, and used the original ECM mounting screws to hold it in place. Working great for the last couple years.

This was during the testing phase.

Re: Computer Mounting

Its a tight fit in the stock location as-is. I wrapped it in an old towel to kill vibrations and used a piece of cable to hold it up since theres nothing to attach a bracket to. With the hush panel on, mine looks like ghettocruiser's
