My dad is looking to possibly buy a wrecked LS1 fbody. A title is not necessary, as it will be used for parts and the shell scrapped if we do not receive a title. It must be in running condition (drivable is not necessary), so the engine and transmission have to be in good shape. The lower the miles the better. We prefer an automatic, but would consider a 6spd also. I don't care what the body looks like (hence why we're looking for a wrecked one), as long as the drivetrain is there and in good working condition we're interested.

are you looking for the entire car or just the drivetrain? I'm asking becuase I may have a lead for you.

 

I'll out it this way, there's a guy here asking $4,600 for just engine and trans and wiring with 31,000 miles. No way am I going to pay that much unless it's an entire wrecked car. I would consider just a drivetrain but I know what this stuff is worth and I know what I'm willing wo pay

 

You can buy fully non wrecked LS1 cars for not much more than that too on 'tech. Mind you they usually have tonnes of miles.
