no hood would clear, there's a post that shows how high the truck intake sits at the front of the engine.

Switch to the LS1 intake, you can get them for like $40 bucks on ls1tech.

i really hate to say it, but budget's kinda hard when you go with a truck motor. i'm in the same boat, but if you've got time on your hands, it'll be less expensive. unless you can modify a lot of sheet metal, you're best bet is the ls1 intake and fbody accessories.

As it was said before, you're going to have to use an LS1 intake and f-body accessories. Look on Tech and Craigslist.

Re: Truck intake Queastions??

I was afraid of that, the ls1 intake wont work has to be ls2, and mine has the vvt which means ill need the acc off of the newer camaro or corvette maybe cst-v? Is the camaro pan still the best option for an oil pan?

Thanks for the replies.

I have an LS2 intake available. The vacuum port on the left side behind the TB needs to be repaired or plugged (long story - I'll share it if you like). Make an offer. I'd like it to go to a good home.

The f-body pan is still the best option.
