converting DBW harness to cable driven harness

Any insight on this or if it's possible? I have an 04 avalanche harness and need to convert it to a cable driven harness. If it's too complicated I guess I'll sell this one and buy an older harness, just this one is sitting on the engine. I already went out and bought a red/blue computer since apparently the green/blue harness I have and that computer won't work for cable driven stuff. Poking around on all data for the 04 harness and kind of lost. My first EFI swap, normally it's all race cars with carbs or big stuff 3, this is new to me. Poked around pocket's posts for a while didn't see anything like this covered. It would go into a 88 tbi/th400 "full size 4x4 thirdgen" To keep it thirdgen tech related of course.

Steve, just keep it DBW...toss a pedal in the burban, and call it a day, then you get the benifits of EASY cruise control, and no fiddling with having to change your cable.

DBW throttle body is gone and I have a ported/polished cable one sitting on a shelf. Also don't have the TAC module or the pedal assembly or assorted wiring for it

Re: converting DBW harness to cable driven harness

Since you're already repinning from green/blue to red/blue just leave out the DBW connectors (2 serial wires to the TAC connector) and run new ones for the TPS/IAC. Pretty much ANY GM vehicle from the 90's up will have them in a JY

This guy has an awesome site and goes into detail about what to retain and what doesnt fit etc
