How do the 5.3 swappers like their new engine?

How do the 5.3 swappers like their new engine?
Many have probably seen me poking around asking questions and what not about 5.3 swaps since im collecting parts to do my own but i wanted to ask the members who have swapped a 5.3 into their 3rd gen and have driven them for a bit how they felt about them? Hows the power? Are you completely satisfied with it? Have you "theoretically" eaten anything on the street that you couldn't before??? What would you have done differently?

I went from a worn out 305 TBI to a NA 5.3 and was blown away. Its a whole new car. Then for giggles I put a blower on it. Love it, thats all I can say

. I raced a 2006 exhaust only mustang GT at the track and got him by a fender, nothing to brag about but I still beat him with a stock 5.3, i'm sure I would've pulled away from him if I could get some good traction though.

I'd really like to see some dyno numbers of what people are getting from stock 5.3's with LS-1 Intakes and F-bod manifolds.

im down for that, ill be using an L33 5.3 and will be gettin it dyno tuned within a week or so of the swap completion. it wont be till next year tho.

If all goes as planned, I should be scheduling a dyno run here within the next month or so. Mine is a stock 5.3 w/LS1 intake, a tune, and it has longtubes, i'm hoping it'll be close to 300 hp to the wheels, i'm getting my dyno done before I start with the bolt-ons so I can have a baseline to go by.

If u can get a 6.0 id get one. But I loved my 5.3 but im partial to liking lots of hp. As for racing my h/c/i 5.3 outran 2 supercharged mustangs. One having boost proplems but still making well over my hp level and a 430 hp vortech gt. Got vids of me vs. the gt
