6.0 vortec swap(yes the truck one)

ok so i have a pretty interesting idea not sure if anyone has done this before. i would like to get a 6.0 vortec from a gm truck/suv and swap the intake manifold to a lsx intake to get a cheap ls engine. my question is does any one kno what kind of work im looking at like trans gearing mounts any info on this build would help. thanks in advance
