Random tap

OK guys I have been having some random tap on my passanger side since I did my trunion rocker arm upgrade. Ls7 lifters have 4000-5000 miles on them. The noise comes and goes as it pleases appears at random rpms and mostly occurs while the motor is reving down. It may tap once.... Wait 5 min...tap twice... Wait 2 min.....tap... 10 min....tap. So its completely random. I and ls1tech have narrowed it down to a few things. 1. I have .025 too short of a push rod, so ill be changing them to longer ones. But i think it would have taped before also. 2. Rocker trunion bearing failure. Or 3. Lifter collapsing too early. I repeat I NEVER had this sound before the upgrade. Anybody have an oppinion??
