Exhaust for an LSX..what are you running, and will these work?
Hey everyone,
I was wondering about exhaust(trying to plan ahead). What are all running on your cars: true dual, or stock style 2 into 1. Also on the true duals X-pipe, or no X-pipe. Manifolds or headers. Headers: short or long. I know it may depend on what I want the motor to do. But for now its a runner, so I'm not going to do anything to it until i get a few other things checked off the list...like repainting the car.
And lastly, I'm sure I know the answer, but the donor car came with hooker long tubes. Will they work in the 3rd gen or should I start sourcing something else?
thanks!

Manifolds, mandrel 2.5" Y into a 3" loudmouth 1
4th gen mid/LT headers do not fit 3rd gens. Shorties do but give minimal gains for the cost
