ok, for those that hve ftermarket fuse boxes for their LS motor; how much of the stock fuse box did you delete? id like to get as much of that out as possible so i dont have to go sorting through twice as many fuses later if i have an issue.

There isn't any redundancy.

Just take out the stuff for the functions you won't be using - ABS, headlights, air pump, etc.

oh boy.. let me rephrase five 7: i have an aftermarket LS specific fuse and relay box that has only engine/fan/ ac operation. thing is... theres the stock fuse box (by which i mean the stock 89 fuse box) which has quite a bit of engine stuff, ac stuff, etc. plus the stock harness was cut from the fire wall plug (dont look at me). so now... i am moving as much as possible to the new fuse/relay box as possible and want to eliminate as much redundancy as possible. not to mention a casper 32 wire bulkhead because of the hacked and missing firewall plug.

Sorry, I saw "stock" and put that with "LS1".

I've done both LS1 fuse/relay box and swap fuse/relay box, but my cars started off carb'd and didn't have much for relays. So, I'll shut up and let someone who knows what they're talking about answer your question.

this is my minimalist fuse/relay center ala Pocket

everything i need to run the motor's on there. all the interior goodies are on the factory fuse block. since my car's originally a factory carb setup, i opted to leave engine electronics to it's own box.
