4th gen. headers

just a quick question.. i have 1 3/4 inch hawks headers on my car and i was looking at the 1 7/8 tsp headers. what all exactly hits on the third gen? i have a tubular k member so keep that in mind. thanks

Look at your collectors un der the car how they hug tight to the trans pan. Notice the frame rails right next to them. 4th gen headers are pointed outwards at approx 15*, so they run directly into your frame. All 8 tubes would need to be cut and reangled. By then itd be faster to build your own from scratch

Understood but That sucks... I wish hawks made a 1 7/8 with a 3 inch collector

Either that, or move the frame rails.

Buy the 1-7/8" primary headers, and have 3" collectors put on them.

Im unaware of hawks having any sort of 1 7/8 header for a third gen. Id order them next week if they did

My bad.

So, move the frame rails...
