well i have a 87 camaro and a complete 99 camaro , i have no idea how i should proceed about the wiring, i want to use all the 99 camaro including the dash and the ac stuff, should i just completely gut the 87 and use all the wiring from the 99 what are your thoughts on the easiest way to do this swap?

Re: where to start

thats what i would look into doing. im doin a 4th gen dash swap in my vert but i have a painless wiring harness. so getting the original stuff and 4th gen stuff to work in a headache! lol
lots of people have done the LS and 4th gen swap into their cars. and there is tons of info on how to do it with the original wiring.

in my opinion its 6 of one and 1/2 dozen of the other lol your choice

Gut the 87, move ALL, meaning every single wire from the 99 over to the 87. Your custom wiring job pertains to relocating a few of the exterior lights

Beware that is not an easy task
