LT1-swapped, getting fuel cell, need inline pump
LT1-swapped, getting fuel cell, need inline pump
Like I said in the title, it's an LT1 swapped into a thirdgen, and we're going to upgrade to a 22-gal fuel cell (stock 13 gal tank only lasts about 75 minutes). So we need to get a inline pump that will feed this thirsty beast. It's mostly stock right now, other than all the ac/smog stuff removed, headers and intake. We may look into mild port/polish later on, so an inline pump that more than does the job would be better. What's a good candidate. I'm not sure the gph I'm looking for here. Thanks!
Re: LT1-swapped, getting fuel cell, need inline pump
If you're overpowering a walbro 255 with an LT1, it must be with ALOT of boost. Id go with an aeromotive 340 intake pump. Two if you're over 700hp
Bosche 044's are good inline pumps, remember the extra current draw they pull and set your relays accordingly
Inline pumps never have been real high on my list
What on earth have you done to the LT1 so it gets that awful of mileage?
