Fuel rail question
Hey guys,
So I'm a pretty big newb to the LS world and have been getting all my stuff ready for the swap. I was trying to mock up my wiring this weekend and wanted to put my fuel rail on the engine, since it was off the way i got it. I took a few pics, but basically the fuel rail seems very far off from the injectors.
Is there a proper way to install the factory fuel rail or something I am missing? From the pics you can see how one bank of injectors matches up with the rail, but the opposite side is a good inch off...and unless there is something I'm doing wrong how is this going to fit properly? Just wanna make sure i didn't get some sort of wrong rail with my entire engine from the guy I bought it from lol. Also the rail holes for mounting don't line up with the intake's, unless i have to seat the entire rail down further onto the intake?
Thanks! Pics:

EDIT: It actually looks bent at one spot to me so i might get another factory one.

Re: Fuel rail question
The crossover is bent, but dont worry about it. Flex it and bolt it down
As long as there are no leaks, it will work fine
Also, you need to install the injectors into the rail prior to installing the assembly to the intake. There are small retainer clips to help and add a measure of security

Re: Fuel rail question
Removing the chain would help too
Be careful, it looks like that #1 injector needs an o-ring
