little bro's 89 5.3 IROC finally runs.

we FINALLY got the car to run and drive. i need to finalize the tune and get a bunch of stuff turned off in the PCM still, but it fired up! i also ran it around the block to make sure the trans works, and it looks like our $100 4l60e is operational, lol! we let it run long enough to get the air bubbles out of the cooling system, and got the fans turned on when they're supposed to be. i'm so happy i could flip, and this isn't even my car (probably happy cause my bro won't be bothering me near as much now, lol)

vid. its surging some cause the MAF is a dud

I know the feeling! I had the same sense of accomplishment getting ny Ls1 running as I did finishing a half marathon. I've started several sbc's, but for some reason the LS1 just seemed waaayyy more gratifying.
