PCM bracket?

Is there a bracket for the 4thgen pcms (and does anyone have one?) or are they just shoved over the hvac box? I can't seem to find GOOD pictures of the area to see. It looks like there is...

Re: PCM bracket?

yes, look on e-bay they usually have good pictures of ones people are trying to sell for more than dealer prices. (two styles... 98 and 99-02) the pcm slides into it. some call it a bucket.

I like the truck bracket for 99-02 myself usually the s10 one works great and is sturdy allowing for modifications of added brackets

Re: PCM bracket?

There is a plastic holder that the PCM slips in (no screws). The holder rests on the fender and is held in place with two screws at the top near the shock tower.

This thread might be helpful. http://ls1tech.com/forums/conversion...g-options.html I think for what you're doing, the IronWorks brackets might work best.

Re: PCM bracket?

I actually found that thread a few hours after making this thread and the ironworks bracket is what I mimicked when I made mine. Just a bit of flat stock and couple minutes with the welder.

Re: PCM bracket?

I got mine shoved up under the dash on the pass side. The cover that goes down there is helping hold it in, no rattles.
