How do i wire up an electric fuel pump in an originally carb'b car?

Hey, im looking into doing an ls1 swap in my 86. The car is currently carbed with a 305 and 700r4. For the fuel pump, how would i go about wiring up the in tank electric fuel pump? Would i have to buy a harness, or is the pump wiring already exsisting in the fuel sending wiring? Any info would be a big help, thanks

No, the wiring isn't there.

I've done two, and I did it differently for each.

The first I put a 4th gen LS fuel tank in and used its pump. I ran a wire from a swap fuse/relay box in the engine compartment through the passenger compartment back to the tank.

The second I bought an EFI pick-up assembly from a TGO member and installed a Walbro pump in it. That LS1 drop-out included the 4th gen fuse/relay boxes, so again I ran a wire from it in the engine compartment back to the tank through the passenger compartment.
