Nope, not at all. LS/LQ/LM-series blocks & heads are completely different & I think the only thing that can be used are the valve springs.

Just so you can have a visual, here's why. Below is a pic of my Vortec heads (not LT1, but same port configuration), along with a pic of my LS3 heads.

I believe awhile back mentioning that some company has a conversion longblock that is sbc with lsx type intake. But the price will steer you far from it lol.

I cant remember what the company name was called.

I think it's World Products. It's essentially an SBC block that accepts a set of LS heads and intake. It's a worthless idea. It looks like an LS in the car, but uses a mix of LS, SBC and unique parts, and is still stuck with the weaker SBC bottom end.

Re: use ls1/6 intake on lt1?

I can't understand why anybody would use that hybrid design instead of just going to the LS. The LS will wind up being cheaper, and is known to fit fine anywhere an SBC does, and can bolt to any transmission that an SBC does as long as you have the right parts. And I can only imagine what happens with one of those things in 10 years when you need one of those unique parts that Dart stopped producing 9.5 years ago.
