6.0 vortec with built ford world class t5 in my 85 irocz, needing some opinions
I went out an bought a 6 liter vortec thinking I was going to keep it fuel injected but ran into some problems an now I'm going to carb it, all my old top end/fuel injectors fuel rails wiring an computer plus the intake all for sale/ 650 obo.. but the reason I'm posting this is because I'm putting a world class t5 Borg warner out of a f body mustang, its fully built an I get the driveshaft, pedals, cable.. the thing I'm running into is finding a decent priced bellhousing with all the swap stuff to make it happen, like what I'm going to do about the torque ARM is one of my big concerns, plus clearance is a big issue in these things to, another thing with the bellhousing is the throw out bearing fork Im not real sure how all that's going to play out, if ya have any ideas or thoughts just let me know, it'd be appreciated

The Ford Mustang T5 has been covered in a few old threads. Conclusion is that while it can be done, it is not worth the cost.

If you're swapping in an LS motor and keeping stock hood- you will need the LS1 intake- not the truck intake. I started collecting parts for the swap but have decided to keep my TPI and build a 350 for it. And take the 5.3 for transplant in an old truck project. So, now I have an LS1 intake I will be selling....

K that's what i was wondering, i read somewhere else that the ls6 intake gains over the ls1 so ill pry hunt a 6 down, unless you can shoot me a good price for it lol
