Fuel Pump TPI to LT1?

OK i've been using the stock TPI fuel pump in my 87 for the past 5 years with the LT1- no issues at all.....it only recently occurred to me that the fuel pump is now 25 years old! Since i am swapping out the rear axle in the next few weeks i thought it would be a good time to dig out the fuel pump and replace it....the question is should i look for a higher flow rate pump? future plans include either a bigger cam/rockers...or maybe a procharger.....i really don't want to have to do this again for obvious reasons......so any thoughts? thanks pat

Trust me the stock **** can handle the piece perfect, no fuel pressure regulator needed man. Next time comment when you know for sure.

okey so the stock regulator can handle a walbro 255 pump? maybe ot but the ls1 engine does require a new regulator? i did mixed it up with the ls1 and lt1 engine.

Re: Fuel Pump TPI to LT1?

if you go forced induction a external fuel pressure reg. with the 1:1 rising rate is a good idea .
