Re: corvette lt1 question

Depends on what you mean?
If the motor comes with accessories the corvette has the a/c at the top right facing the motor and f bodys had them on the bottom left so you have to notch the k-member a little.
Intake wise the fuel rail on a vette comes in on the passenger side so I think you'd be better off with an f-body fuel rail. not sure if it fits the vettes intake though.
If you mean motor wise some have 4 bolt mains if it was a vette other than that they are mostly the same.
I went with the f-body one and it was really straightforward just do alot of research on here and you'll be fine.

Re: corvette lt1 question

All I did to clear mine was smack it with a ball peen hammer a few times. only needed an inch dent at maximum. Not saying vette accessories aren't worth it but I usually just go with what I have. I would recommend starting with a donor car. made my life much easier.

Love your wheel choice btw

Re: corvette lt1 question

thanks. So it doesnt really matter where I get this lt1 if its out a vette, camaro, or a roadmaster since im gonna be rebuilding it and buying aftermarket heads? I can just get a hell of a deal on a vette lt1 thus why I am asking.

Re: corvette lt1 question

Harness is going to have a different layout, from experience doing harness conversions the caprice/impala harness is the best for the thirdgen chassis.

Front accessorys the corvette stuff eliminates the notching of the crossmember, but also requires longer a/c hoses and running stuff across the bay, personally i'd rather stick with the fbody stuff for layout and cleanliness, realistically if the deal is right though, everything for the LT1's is cheap.
