that looks really nice, what valve covers are you using? also how is the clearance of the driver's side cover to your windshield wiper motor?

The cars all done! I'm picking it up friday. This is from the photo shoot for an up coming magazine (not sure if I'm aloud to say which one yet). All I want to say is thanks to Hawk's Third Gen for everything.

Re: New LSX451
It a 89 Formula 350 Firebird that I bought brand in on Aug 8, 1989. I had the car stripped to bare metal 5 years ago, shaved the door handles and moved the gas tank neck into the back glove/storage box. The color is House of Kolor's candy purple. When I got the car back I completely redid the interior, starting with Dyno mat through out the whole car. New everything. Than I changed the k-member and a-arms for Sphon. Got a 3in narrowed ford 9in rear end, 6 piston Baer brakes, and true 3 piece Boze wheels from Hawk's. Are running on a tired 355, I decided for new power. After talking with Bruce Hawkin I went with a balanced and blue printed LSX451 from LME. It produced 705HP and 619TQ on the dyno. All the front k member and suspension had to be changed for LS motor so I went with BMR. While Hawk's had the car, i decided I wanted something different and never seems before. So I had them send my dash to Dakota Digital and they custom built a purple LED gauge cluster for me. The motor is followed up by a built T-56. So to some it up. I'm the one and only owner of the car until the day after I die and my wife sells it. But for now Hawk's put the final touches on my dream of what I wanted my car to be.

I dont like purple at all.
But MAN is that a nice color... I really dig it!
Car looks great. I bet it drives a bit different than it did back in 1989 huh? Looking forward to some more pics/info and some videos of her!
Great stuff!

Good Gawd! Very very nice build!! I'm getting really jealous of all these awesome underbodies! LOL That's one area I've never really cared to detail but builds like this sure do have me thinking I need to do something!
