Sadly since ive been building my car I set my all new suspension up to handle curves with a 445 427 bored out with a full fogger kit but do to raising gas proves it wouldn't lot me enjoy it and I wanna drive the car more then once a month do I bought a 5.3 short block that spun a cam bearing for 300 bucks a picked up a set of ls1 full ported with 2.02 and 1.6 valves for 200 the block is iron from a 04 1500 my plan was to leave the stock crank alone and order some forged h beam 6.125 rods and either go 3.780 or bore it to a ls1 spec 3.898 I hit the block sonic checkers and tit checked out great I wanna run a forged piston I have my heart set on a vodoo 294 cam kit I live for high rpms and go with a Holley hi ram intake with either a 90 or 102 mm I think the 102 would be more benifitsal or how ever it's spelled with 1.7 on the intake side and 1.8 on the exhaust side and spin it to 7500 on my shifts I either wanna run a on3 76mm or a twin set up I sold my bbc hooker headers and I have a up and forward steelworks set on the way I love some in put on the bore and my set up anything any one would change

 

Oh d I'm wanting to push 800 to 900 rwhp and between 15 to 20 or 22 psi or some days lol Max it out

Forged 5.3 pistons of you really want to buy something, totally stock 5.3's have been pushed much farther fresh from the JY

I wouldnt spend a dime machining a 5.3 block
