Has anyone used all the truck accesories on their swap into a 1989 IROC? Saw article in Hybrid Z where a guy did with his Datsun. Wondering if this would work for me. Doing father son project and don't want to kill the budget changing out all accesories. Thanks

The accessories will fit the engine bay without issue. The alternator will not clear the hood. You will either need to relocate the alternator, slightly lower the stock mount and use a smaller alternator, or use a very wide cowl hood.

 

Marc, Thanks for the reply. Do you have any suggestions other than tapping a new hole and removing rear bracket from altenator to get this done. Also have you seen any budget exhaust solutions for this application.

Thanks Mark, just wondering if there had been any new ideas in regards to these matters. I've pretty much read all the above stuff once or twice. I'll probably start a thread on my build and posts pictures soon. I'd appreciate everyones input. Sean and Garret.
