She is alive! There was a solder joint that wasnt very good to begin with and it turned to dust! I just went for a quick test drive and I was firmly planted into the seat! Thanks everyone for the assistance!!!!

Re: LT1, slight hesitation, no power.

turned the ignition on. Passenger side was at 11.5 volts, drivers is at 9.5....

NICE Catch !!

The fuel filter is a generic carb online filter placed before the online pump.
Should probably replace that with a FI type...... is the original 2.8 canister type fuel filter still there ? The current filter is probably only desigined for Carb Fuel pressure and your putting about 4X that much pressure thru your fuel system. Not a big thing, but should be on the 'to-do' list !

Feels like a completely different car now - doesn't it !

Re: LT1, slight hesitation, no power.

You bet it does! Still can't get the smile off my face, though wife is getting pretty sick of it.... Haha...

The carb fuel filter is between the tank and the pump, on the suction side. The instructions for the pump said to place one there. I'm planning on putting one on the pressure side, just haven't got there yet.

Im just so glad this is fixed. I was already looking up a possible LSx or carbed 350 if I couldn't resolve this. From here on in, it should be all minor stuff!
