Motor mount questions?

Havin some issues understanding the motor mount deal on swapping in a ls. (5.3)

Can i just buy these: http://carshop.carshopinc.com/produc...id/86959/LS1GM

and then bolt up my original motor mount to those?

doing so i dont have to buy the expensive ones from hawks?

Yes, but...

But you can't use the factory AC compressor mount location. If you aren't doing AC, or move the compressor up from the factory location, you can use them.

I used them on my LS1/4L60E swap without AC. I do have a relocation system that uses a Sandon compressor, but I haven't installed it.

I also plan on using them on my stroked LQ4 swap into my '57 Bel Air (which was earlier converted to side mounts).
