6.0 / 13.28 @ 107.8

Took the car to the track friday. Best run was the 13.2 , i was pretty happy with it. The car has a ez 12.xx in it. This is with a ls1 intake, some tiny ex. , single trac rearend with 2.73's. 60Ft sucked from the 1 wheel peel. I could see a 12.6-7 with a ls6 intake, headers and gears and posi. Hell it might be a low 12 with a stall and some sticky tires on top of that.

It was fun tho i havent been to the track in while.

that's not a bad time for an open rear car. With a posi rear and some drag radials you would probably gain a full second.

he's got a lot more holding him back than an open differential. 107mph is good for 12's no doubt, but i'd hope that a 364" engine would do better than that. gears, converter, and proper exhaust are in store too i hope.

It has a lot working agenst it. Im running stock tune with tq management still turned on, stock manifolds with 2"y pipe, open diff, 2.73 gears, ls1 intake... I should gain some good mph with just exhaust and a tune but it will all come in time...

Get it tuned and disable torque management. Not all of tq management in the trans shift settings however, just some. Better exhaust and gears plus a tune will get you 30-40 hp

I just meant he is losing alot of time trying to launch with an open rear, irregardless 13.2 isn't bad for a street car with an open rear. We all could do a million other things to our cars to make them faster, i was just talking about his current package, not bad in my opinion.

Get your 60' to 1.6's with a gear, converter and tubular torque arm, you'll be looking at 11's!

He has 2.73's and and open diff, with stock manifold and a 2" y pipe...I don't think he's stuck with 107.
