Exedy clutch anybody use one?

In the process of my ls1/t56 swap and was wanting to do a new clutch/flywheel/slave cylinder while I had everything out. saw this on ebay
http://www.ebay.com/itm/EXEDY-CLUTCH-KIT-SLAVE-FLYWHEEL-CAMARO-Z28-SS-FIREBIRD-FORMULA-TRANS-AM-5-7L-LS1-/160999725107?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item257c54d833&vxp=mtrAnybody have any experience with these?

Trying to keep my swap as cheap as possible right now, so I'm not looking to spend $800 or better for a clutch kit. If I have to, I have to but would rather spend that money on something else. Ls1 will be ran stock for quite a while, until I can really build it.

Never heard any first hand experience with them. Just a FYI though, a complete ls7 clutch setup with flywheel can be had for around 500, minus slave cylinder. Good for 600HP, smooth as stock.

Most others and I buy GM kits ( made for the OEM by LUK). If your not in a hurry, just keep an eye on eBay, most of the time you can get one for around 500, I actually scored a disc, plate, and flywheel for 375.

Re: Exedy clutch anybody use one?

so theres this one
http://www.ebay.com/itm/LUK-CLUTCH-KIT-SLAVE-FLYWHEEL-1998-2002-CAMARO-Z28-SS-FIREBIRD-FORMULA-5-7L-LS1-/400451641137?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item5d3cc71f31&vxp=mtrthat says its for a ls1 and will fit

or this one
http://www.ebay.com/itm/LUK-CLUTCH-KIT-SLAVE-RACING-FLYWHEEL-CORVETTE-C6-6-0L-LS2-6-2L-LS3-Z06-7-0L-LS7-/160987396384?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item257b98b920&vxp=mtrthat one says it fits corvette only, but pretty sure the clutch measurements are the same. is it really worth the extra $200?

Re: Exedy clutch anybody use one?

The first one is a standard ls1 kit by the looks of it. The second one is more due to the SFI approved lightweight flywheel. Good upgrade IF the manufacturer is a good one.(I just never had any experience with exedy parts).

These are the OEM kits that are generally referred to: http://item.mobileweb.ebay.com/viewi...id=53325726971
