testing LS1 coils...
is there a way to test if LS coils are any good? the set i've got have been sitting in the barn since 2005, and i got them on a blown up engine that i never got to see run... i know you can use an ohm meter to test regular coils, but these have the module integrated into each coil so it might be different?
if ohming them isn't the path to enlightenment, then is this something i could have done at a parts store in the thing that they use on regular ignition modules and alternators and what not?

Re: testing LS1 coils...
AutoZone actually has a pretty nice tester that will check modules, sensors and other electronic parts. I seem to remember there being an option/harness for the ls style coils. Cant remember if it ran the module test or just had you probe it.
Now...finding someone working in the store that has even a has the slightest clue that its in their store, let alone how to use it....thats the tough part.
