LQ4 question

I just picked up a nice LQ4 and I'm very excited that my swap will be underway soon. I would like to ask how much should I expect just to swap out all the fri t drive accessories. I haven't had much luck looking in the forums and eBay seems very expensive for everything. Can anyone here let me know how much I should be looking to spend so I have something to go by. Thanks

Re: LQ4 question

There's a whole sub-forum up at the top of this one, for LSx and LTx motors. The LQ4 is just a typical LSx therefore all that stuff applies to it.

Be aware though that some of those motors have fitment issues at the trans end; details matter, in a BIG way, to what you can easily bolt it to. They're NOT all the same back there.

Re: LQ4 question

I know what ur saying but I just like to know what I can expect to pay for all the front accessories such as brackets, AC, power steering, alternator etc so that I have something to go by so that I don't overspend. That's all

Re: LQ4 question

Rather than coming here (the wrong place) and begging to get spoon-fed, go visit that other forum up there and READ what people who are doing it, have to say, before asking open-ended questions like that.
