New to LS swap. Few questions
I just picked up a 99 LS1 and I have a few questions. I am putting this into an 89 Camaro. I already about the wiring done. I am wondering if my stock power steering line will work or do I have to get a 4th gen ps line.
Next is my engine didn't come with a tranny (auto is what ill be using 4L60e) and its also missing the flexplate. I looked at summit for getting a flywheel and they are showing a couple different torque converter bolt patterns 10.750, 11.063, 11.500. Wondering what one I would need. Im just looking for something stock.
thanks

The 4thgen power steering line works fine with a small amount of persuasion. The return line is just regular hose rated for hydraulic oil that you can buy at any auto parts store.

I hope you're planning on an LS-type 4L60E. You can get an earlier one to "fit", but you'll be missing a bellhousing bolt on the top and two on the bottom, and you'll need to move the flexplate .4" closer to the transmission.
If you need a converter, let me know. I have the stock one from my 2000 LS1/4L60E swap, it's yours for the picking up or cost of shipping.
