Little pcm help please?

Hey guys, so I'm swapping a 04 lq4 in my 82 Camaro, I got the wiring harness out of the truck it came on, 2500HD, I've stripped my harness down to stand alone and have recently found that my pcm does not have the drivers for the IAC on my DBC ls6 setup. Is there a pcm for a car or truck I could use without having to Repin my entire harness? Thanks for any help!!

Re: Little pcm help please?

99-02 red/blue pcms are mostly the same pinout, so changes will be minimal. Biggest thing to watch for is O2 wiring changed. Case ground vs isolated ground

Most common pcm is the 0411. It's common on 01-03 gm vehicles, not necessarily fbodys or even v8's. I like to grab them from 4.3 s10s because they're cheap and plentiful

Thanks pocket!! I see a lot of use full info out of you here! Thumbs up! 1 more thing, I am kind of confused on the o2 sensors, what are they labeled as and where are they exactly? My swap headers have o2 bungs, are those the ones I need? And aren't there high bank and low bank sensors? Sorry for the questions, my 1st fuel injection build

Re: Little pcm help please?

There are front and rear sensors. Fronts monitor oxygen levels in the exhaust so the PCM can monitor fueling. Rears monitor cat function and are strictly emission related. Most swaps only use fronts. If your car must pass smog testing, all 4 must be used

I mentioned the two different types because the wiring changed and Delphi did a lot of jumping around between types for the middle years

Lt1swap.com goes in detail the difference both in design and electrical
