Turbo LQ9 build thread.

I'm currently building a 85' IROC that I've had for 10 years. Only had 87k miles when I pulled the motor. Stock LB9 305/700R4 car. Was stock except for the mufflers. Also have the ECU and harness for sale if anyone is interested. Currently building a LQ9 6.0 for it now. Picked it up complete from intake to oil pan for $1k. Hoping for 600~ whp. Here's a list of parts for the car so far.

Engine:

Magnafuel 300 fuel pump and filter.

Turbo:
Borg Warner S475 1.10 AR, 83mm wheel.

RPS 50mm blow off valve.
Universal EBAY piping kit.
CX racing intercooler.

Drivetrain:
TH400.

BMR weld in subframe connectors.
Lakewood 50/50 rear shocks.

Paint and body is coming in a couple of weeks. Has a Harwood 6 inch cowl hood. The paint color is Ford's race red. Gonna run the black anodized Billet Specialties street lites. 15x10 in the rear with a 275/60 drag radial and 15x4 in the front. Black HID headlights.

Gonna gather up progress pictures throughout the week to post for you all. Always wanted to post a build log like this.

Have to say the money spent on the 10-bolt is money down the drain. Save those $'s for a 9", 12-bolt, or S60.
