What else needed for t56?

I'm trying to compile a list of everything needed for my LS1/t56 swap. I have most of the motor stuff. Now I am working on trans parts.

My pullout only came with the trans, no other trans parts.

So my list consists of

Trans
-Pedals
-Shifter
-Flywheel/Clutch/TO bearing
-Slave Cylinder
-Trans lines
-Hawks Double Hump Crossmember
-Trans mount

I have searched, but mostly come up with LT1 swaps, and I am trying not to confuse the non interchangeable clutch parts, plus this stuff is a little more advanced than the trans in my '70 sand rail

Re: What else needed for t56?

Also the rest of the clutch hydraulics. You listed the slave but you need the master and the line/resevoir that goes with it.

Re: What else needed for t56?

Just a tip, but autozone sells the same HTOB as GM for about $90. When you pick it up, make sure its cast alum with AP on the base. Painted black means china junk

Also, price out the master to slave line. Ive got one attached to a master in my swap parts thread. Pedals w/ switches too

Wouldnt hurt to get a remote bleeder while you're at it. $40-60 from most places

The stock hurst shifter from alot of 4th gens feels great and is relatively inexpensive

LS7 clutches feel great and are inexpensive

If you're keeping the TA mount on the tailhousing, Id skip the stock trans mount and use a HD mount from a 4L80E equipped truck. You will have to redrill the crossmember for 2 holes instead of one, but Ive never broken one and it dampens vibrations more than poly

The remote bleeder is always a good idea.
