Ok folks my buddy crashed his 93 camaro this past week. He said I could have the entire drivetrain out of it for my 92. It was a spin out and he tagged the front bumper on the freeway wall. Basically tweeking the frame and ripping the front bumper off and killing the radiator.

So heres the deal we unbent everything and removed the damaged radiator and decided before we pull the engine to make sure it still runs.

Well she cranks but doesn't try to start. First thought was inerta switch from the crash. Nope the pump primes just fine. We then tried spraying starting fluid into the open throttle body...... Nothing. So it appears we are not getting spark.

We looked over the damage and the only place the factory harness appears damaged was the drivers headlights and those are capped off.

Any ideas?

 

did coolant get spilled over the optispark when the radiator got damaged?

 

My buddy actuallt figured it out the 10a fuse for the ignition decided to blow and I didn't think to check fuses. runs fine now thanks for the reply though!
