Im currently doin an ls1 swap into my 91 camaro it has the spohn kmember and deleted hvac i wont be getting my headers for another couple of weeks is it possible to install the hawks long tubes after the motor and trans are in the car oh im using a th400 trans and spohn crossmember

Yes. Remove the coils and plugs and they slide in extremely easy. One from above, one from below IIRC

Far cry from the all day battle to install LTs on a SBC in a 3rd gen. Plug access is a piece of cake too. Gap, install, replace coils is a 30 min job, even taking a pepsi break

BTW, youll need to cut off the "ears" on the TH400 BH if you havent already

I actually got mine installed from the top on both sides. Starter removed on the passenger side though

 

Also, if anyone searches this thread, forget all the easy install part when using a scattershield
