Brand new 3rd gen LSx swap harnesses
Ive had alot of questions about what these brand new harnesses entail that the older modified used harnesses do not. The answer is nothing
Heres one I finished recently: LS1/T56 into a 92 Camaro
Overview, huge harness, much like OEM. The intent is to look factory when installed

Detail of the PCM connectors, C207 and ALDL

Relays, the oval design has been discontinued. I like these because they link together and are about $2.50 to replace. This build uses remote relays to be mounted under the battery tray, out of sight. They can be mounted in the stock location as well

C100

HVAC, shaped a little different than 3rd gen, but plugs in the same

Various connectors. These can be tailored to a hybrid conversion. Truck MAF, EV6 inj, oddball intake configuration, different HO2 style etc. Anything is possible

To sum up, these are NOT stand alone. They are true plug and play which means put your crimpers away. Take it out of the box, plug it in and hit the key
Contact me for details. I will be offering LT1 with stock or LSx control as well as OBDII SBC harnesses in the near future

Looks good. Did you use all black wire to keep cost down? vs color correct wire?
What the Price on what you just pictured? 92 Camaro going 6.0/T56

Re: Brand new 3rd gen LSx swap harnesses
The harness Pocket is building is for me. I don't know if Pocket is being public about the pricing, will leave that to him. It is a REALLY good deal and its not a standalone like a painless or other generic company harness would be.
I got it completely customized to my car and tastes, from running the hardness up through the fender like stock, to mounting the relays out of sight, to 4th gen AC compressor, to dealing with an auto to T56 swap, all of it. Plus the best part, since I had sent my 92 and 99 harness to another board member and never got it back, the fact that Pocket starts all new is priceless! I didn't have to go source old harnesses to send off elsewhere.
And like someone else said, its a Pocket harness, could you ask for any better quality than that?

Very nice.
Turnaround time?
I'm interested in having few made. I'm getting over run w swaps. Quality pnp harnesess are what i need. I dont use reconstructed oe harnesses any more. Too many probs. at least in my experience w em. Hard to find a good guy that does quality work. And ive done alot of swaps.

Can't build any until this trip ends in mid sept, then it's about a week or less per depending on what I've got going on. This is a side gig
Breaks for bulk orders. I can churn them out quickly when they're similar

Re: Brand new 3rd gen LSx swap harnesses
I'm in the middle of swapping a 99 LS1 (Trans Am WS6) with T56 into a 1987 Camaro IROC convertible (LG4 - 305 carb). Is this something you can make a plug & play harness for? It's looking like many weeks of waiting to get my modified harness back with the route I'm going now, so starting to look at options.

I can handle any 3rd gen
Carb car will require a fuseblock added, some need the FP wire connected. No biggie. Shoot me a PM and we'll go from there

Re: Brand new 3rd gen LSx swap harnesses
Hello Pocket. I have watched your posts on here for years. I have finally got my engine and tranny out of a 2007 suburban. (5.3/ auto) and it's going into a 91 camaro rs that has a 5.0 tbi auto. This is my first swap so I don't want to go very custom but want a running driving car that I can boost in the future. I would like to keep the AC but install it after I get the car running (so I will need the harness wired for it and not utilize it initially)
I have seen your work and love it. Can you loom the wires with anything else besides the plastic loom? If so, how much would the harness cost and what is your turnaround time?
Keep up the kick *** work

Looks great! I will be ordering soon! Question for ya. Do you think making a harness with the ev6 injectors is a benefit? Im thinking it might for my app. Ev6 ls3 injectors are rated at 42lbs and cheap. Im also going to run a FAST 102 so if I used the ev6 injectors I wouldnt need the spacers. Is there any other difference between the injectors besides those listed?

I'm glad to see you building them, you just can't ask for anyone better to be doing these.

Re: Brand new 3rd gen LSx swap harnesses
Quick turnaround time I think it was little over a week
Packaging was great, everything in harness was new and wires where color not black idk if they all come like that now
Install was easier than easy then eating a cake
Total install time was about 10-15min
If your harness is old and crusty and or don't what to spend hours playing with dirty whiles well worth the price , I wouldn't want to mess with another dirty harness again lol

Been sending PM's, checking his profile and even tried the e-mail through 3rd gen.
Hope nothing bad happened to him or his posse .

I'm not certain what happened. I got the harness, but it's missing the computer so I'm not able to install it. Since then I've not been able to get a hold of him through email or PM.

Putting a temporary hold on new orders until I can get my website up and running. Please keep in mind this is a side gig for me. I do travel the majority of the year and when I get 15+ orders in a very short window (Xmas), they can get backed up. If anyone needs to contact me and Im not on the forum, please use the email function on the left. I do not check the forum when I travel, but I do get regular emails

Re: Brand new 3rd gen LSx swap harnesses
I have decided to build mine myself. I'm learning very quickly that buying one of these from Pocket is a good deal. It is very time consuming.
Pocket,
Have you thought about offering a brand new harness in kit form? I really wanted to do this myself but a big part of the battle is finding the connectors and terminals. I would love to see a kit with all the connectors and terminals needed, then buy my own wire and loom and be able to do the rest myself.
