Has anybody upgraded to the LS2 PCM??

Well, I just picked up a 1996 Buick Roadmaster with 168,000 miles. Runs real strong. I intend to install the LT1 into my 1992 Z-28.

So like EVERYBODY SAYS, Research, Research. Well I came across an article where they talk about getting rid of the OPTISPARK, going individual coils from the LS2 Truck Motor and changing over to the 99/00 LS PCM.

Supposed to better and easier to program, not cheap mind you (@$1600) but more options would be available.

Has anyone done this? Did you get what you where looking for? Would you do it again? You know, the basic 'Was it worth it' questions.

Thats commonly referred to as a 24x LT1, lots of swaps done with excellent results. If you can afford it, I would go that route. EFI connection sells all the necessary parts including the wiring

You want a 99-04 LSx red/blue PCM, there are a few numbers but the xxxx0411 is the most common. Look at the service number, not the part number
