Gen IV swap-relocate fpr to rear of car?

Im still working the details out on this LY6 swap, but its a returnless fuel rail system.

So what would be the drawbacks of mounting my adjustable fpr near the tank?

None, really. That's what you have when you use a Vette filter/regulator in the 3rd gen filter location.

There is the concept that the closer the return is to the fuel rail, the cooler the fuel will tend to stay. But, that really isn't too big of an issue (although bracket racers tend to care about that kind of stuff).

I have never looked in to this before but I would guess the main difference would be response time and pressure transients at the fuel rail. The pressure at the regulator versus actual pressure at fuel rail are more alike when the regulator is close to the rail.

If you already have a good fuel system plumbed, then why go through the effort to redo it?

I'm thinking about options, right now im pulling off the bottom of the tank. I don't think I want to run the A1000 pump for a daily driver, so its back to an in tank pump probably, or maybe just swap pumps......
