Welcome aboard thirdgen.org.
I moved this to the LTX and LSX sub-forum where it's more likely to be seen.
But, if you're asking for help in-person, you may be better off asking on your regional forum.
I will say that I read and read and researched and searched before I started mine, and it usually didn't make sense until I actually started doing a particular task. Then what I read and researched and searched about made sense.

Honestly it isn't that complicated, I'm excited to see how fast I can do it the second time.

Wiring isn't all that complicated, there are just a lot of wires to deal with.
Various wiring diagrams are available online. You'll want one for your specific car, and one for your donor car (PCM at least). I found a Mitchell diagram for my LQ4 that proved to be extremely helpful.
Some things are pretty standard and simple - Black is ground, red is battery voltage, pink is switched power. There will be things you don't use, which can be left in place, or removed to debulk the harness.
Using the fuse/relay box from the donor car makes things simpler (in my opinion). There will be a lot you don't use, but those can be removed.
Basically, each wire does one thing (although some ground and power wires are ganged together). Can't get much simpler than that.
