! am looking to put a LM7 into my 91 RS. I understand that the stock intake manifold will be too tall to fit under the stock hood. Would a cowl induction hood be able to fit the LM7 manifold?

Also there is a relatively inexpensive 95 z28 in my area with a T56 that I am considering for a Transmission/rear end/drive shaft swap. How difficult/expensive is it to swap the LT1 T56 to fit the
LM7? I understand I would need to swap the bellhousing, input shaft, clutch and midplate. Is there anything I'm missing here? The donor car is gonna be $3000. Will I be able to part out the rest of it and still come out money ahead from buying the tranny and rear end separate, despite the transmission conversion?

If the trans is in good condition, I'd do it. You are looking at around $5-800ish for the LS T56 swap parts, but it's worth it. Don't forget about the hydraulics as well... LT1 stuff won't work with an LS T56.
