LS1 4th Gen headers --BRP Mid-length?

So I'm taking the LS plunge and I know this topic has been beat to death but since my plan consists of using my 700r4 (Build to handle 500+hp a month before my current 383 ate itself) it takes the Holly Blackheart Kit off the table (Very fine kit for what it is). The only search I found brought up a 4-year old post with inconclusive results.

That said, has anyone been using these? BRP Mid Length 1 3/4"

They look to fit nicely and would take only small y-pipe addition to properly fit in the factory location to mate up with my single 3" hooker catback.

For those of you that have it, what size collector are they? 2.5"? Looks to be ball and socket style connection?

Any information is greatly appreciated!

Doing some more research, these mount more like long tubes than shorties. Not sure how I would get them around my 700R4 without creating ground clearance issues.
