All pinouts I have show that there should not be a wire in pin 41 (blue). (I was under the impression I had a 99 year pcm and engine/t56) so far all of the wiring appears to check out, as I am planning my harness build. However I was surprised to find this additional wire, where all pinouts suggest "not used" as in there shouldn't be anything there.


Anyone have a clue why this is here? I plan to trace this as the harness comes apart, just curious if someone knows whats going on here. My guess is a ground.

Also, the hardware number on the PCM is 16220610, which I believe is a 99-00.

maybe compare against 65 where it's supposed to be on the Firebird ECM ?

 

My 99 service manual shows Blue 41 the EGR sensor ground

 

I attached a factory pin out for your connector. Appears to be related to the egr system
