Random pics of my recent swap. Car was a L98 with LT 6 speed, HSR, SLP exhaust

Now Lt converted to LS6 speed, LS3 with Tick Stage 2 cam, full Hooker Blackheart exhaust and a ton of other engine and car upgrades

 

Digging those CF and Maroon accents. Very well done car.

Did you eliminate the factory coolant overflow because of the ac lines?

 

No needed room for the intake/filter

 

Tubes are real CF, rest is....Hydro dipped

 

What AC bracket did you go with?

 

Car looks fantastic. Where did you get your CF tubes?, specifically the one with the MAF mount? Any dyno numbers?

IntakeHoses.com for the CF bits, and found a MAF holder I think I used Airraid for that, cut the slot very carefully, taped over the area, drill 2 small holes, then Dremel and cut off wheel to make the slot, then bonded the maf holder to the tube, It's since been rotated out of site, I left it up for tuning purposes


And watch which way the maf goes in, there's an arrow on it for a reason, ask me how I know

Good to know. I have the billet aeroflow one but its outputs are not ideally placed.

 

I got the bracket, reservoir and hose cheaper separately than buying the Holley kit complete too

 

Absolutely. I always get GM stuff cheaper browsing the various depths of the interwebs.

 

 

Guess that's why they look similar

 

Reservoir, bracket and hose are all GM

 

Yea it's all Vette accessories, made my own P/S lines
