1982 V6 2.8L Carb to LS1 Swap
Hi all, from Australia here and finally making the V6 2.8L to LS1 swap happen
I have ordered the hooker engine mounts / trans crossmember as a start and due to parts being out of stock arent due until March, this will solve the engine and trans mounting.
Looking at running a holley terminator x and wiring for electrical.
My next step is fuel i havent had a chance to look at the car in a while but im guessing being V6 Carb i wouldnt have a return line back to the tank?
Anyone used one of these pumps? https://www.holley.com/products/ls_p...m/parts/12-328

Search, search, search function! But while I'm here, I might as well help.
The Holley fuel pump/sender you linked has a return line, so if you go that route you will want to find return style "LS" fuel rails.
The Holley terminator x is not quite a complete kit, you need an alternator signal wire with a resistor they sell separately, and also an air intake temp sensor. I used one from a 1994 v6 camaro.
If you have any more questions, pm me

Be advised that the Hooker crossmember is not listed to fit any 82-83 model f-bodies. I believe that the spacing between the rails are different from other year models.

This crossmember can also be installed in a 1982 or 1983 model year F-body by modifying the location of the stock crossmember attachment holes in the subframe.
