why didnt you have the gfx on the door painted like the rest of the gfx?

photobucket wont take you to another site when u click a thumbnail, and it wont use macromedia to display the images. plus u can use the IMG tags and the picture will show full size in the thread (as long as its 800x600 or smaller)

the spoiler needs to be blue, the door gfx needs to be painted and the grill needs to go blue or black. the grey doesn't quite fit. other than that, the craftsmanship is pretty excellent! kudos on redoing the wheels, i'm in the middle of doing a set of 85-87 irocs.

 

where did you get it painted? also it looks nice but doesnt looked "finished" due to the mis-colored pieces, if all the ground effects were the same color it would look good. but the spoiler has to be body color, but to each his own, good job.

 

Havent gone recently might head up there friday.

 

I see what you were going for, but it looks like you found another car and just took the gfx off of it and put it on your car instead of matching or complimenting the car.

 

i like the different look but do understand what you all are saying, in time i will def make the front grill black and someday may try the spoiler blue and add the door pieces silver but for now it will stay as is until i get sick of the look! thanks for the opionions and complements!

my buddy's dad painted it, he used to own simon motor sports (he specialized in porches) now he just works at bolton collision in CT. he does pretty good work, theres a few things he has to fix which will be getting done next week.

 

I think it looks pretty good, might look better with the painted headlight buckets, do you have any before/after pics?

 

I agree, silver headlight buckets would probally look good.

Your car looks awesome, I like that blue....but if it were me (dont worry im not putting you down)....I would have spent the money and time on something better than paint...thats just me but now it looks like its time for some engine and interior work huh?

interiors actually in really good shape, just not the driver seat! nxt is some work on the engine.. it had a v6 in it before over last winter i installed a 350TPI 700r4 auto tranny with a shift kit/high rev torque converter. 350 has aftermarket slp runners and holley throttle body, 3" exhaust high flow cat with flowmaster. im currently learning about cam's i would like to install one over this comming winter and port the heads, have to look around some more and do more research!
